Merlin’s Pet Emporium began in the same way many good ideas do — around the kitchen table, talking about our dog.

I’m Sophie and Merlin is the heart of everything I do. Like most dog owners, I’ve spent years trying different leads, harnesses, toys and treats. Some were brilliant. Many were disappointing. A few didn’t even last a week.

I realised how hard it is to know what’s actually good quality and what’s just clever marketing.

So I decided to create something I wished existed.

A Pet shop Built on Real Experience

Every product we stock has been used by us and tested by Merlin in real life — muddy walks, rainy days, long park runs and cosy evenings at home.

If we wouldn’t use it with our own dog, we won’t sell it.
